THOMASVILLE, N.C. -- Jennifer Hitt of Anderson College has been selected as the NCAA Division II Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference (CVAC) women's cross country Runner of the Week. Hitt recorded her best finish in AC's fourth meet of the season as she led the Lady Trojans to a fourth-place team finish at the Winthrop University Invitational in Rock Hill, S.C. Hitt, a freshman from Fountain Inn, S.C., finished the 5K course in a time of 19:59 to be the first Lady Trojan to cross the finish line and the third finisher overall. In four meets, she has recorded four top-16 finishes and has finished in the top six three times. She has been AC's leading runner in all four meets.
