ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson women's soccer team dropped its South Atlantic Conference home match against Wingate, 4-0, on Saturday evening at Spero Financial Field.
The Trojans fall to (3-8-1, 1-6-1) while the Bulldogs move to (7-4, 4-4 SAC).
Wingate's relentless attach resulted in four goals, scoring in the 19th, 55th, 65th and 80th minutes of action.
For the match, the Bulldogs outshot the Trojans 20(14) – 5(4) and had the corner kick advantage, 8-2.
Junior keeper Jeanette Campbell was credited with ten saves, while Wingate's keeper Katrine Thisgaard had four saves on the evening.
The Black and Gold will host Mars Hill on Saturday. Kick-off is slated for 1 pm.
