Anderson, S.C. – The Anderson University women's soccer program has added seven for the upcoming 2021 season, announced on Friday by Trojan head coach Sarah Jacobs.
The Black and Gold welcome: Sarah Devine (Waxhaw, N.C./Charlotte Catholic High School), Ansley Donovan (Mt. Pleasant, S.C./Oceanside Collegiate Academy), Halena Handel (Cold Spring, Ky./Handel Academy), Macy McDufford (Harrisburg, N.C./Hickory Ridge High School), Chanley Pfingston (Winter Haven, Fla./Chain of Lakes High School), Haley Sink (Richmond, Va./Cosby High School), and Grace Tang (Troutman, N.C./South Iredell High School) to the team for the upcoming 2021 campaign.
Jacobs on 2021 Class: "We look forward to welcoming our 2021 signing class this fall. These seven freshmen will help build our program both on and off the field. They have displayed great skill, determination and character throughout the recruiting process and embody the values of AU. I am excited to have the opportunity to help develop them as both players and people throughout their time here as a Trojan."
The Trojans are slated to open up its 2021 season on the road at the Bobcat Kickoff Classic on September 4th. Kick-off versus Florida Southern is scheduled for 5 pm.
