Queens Rallies To Beat Lady Trojans, 2-1

ANDERSON, S.C. -- Queens University of Charlotte scored two goals in a 14-minute span in the second half to come from behind and beat Anderson College 2-1 in a CVAC women's match Saturday afternoon at Smethers Field. Queens, 7-6-1 overall and 5-4 in the CVAC, trailed 1-0 after Anderson's Larrissa Fedorwich scored off an assist from Nicole DuPree at the 30-minute mark of the first half. Queens got the equalizer at the 54-minute mark when Tamara Diaz Matosas scored after taking a pass from Hayley Pasko. The Royals got the game winner at 67:30 when Kelsey Ball found the back of the Anderson net. Queens had eight shots to six for Anderson. Queens goalkeeper Megan Mueller made four saves.
