GAFFNEY, S.C. -- The Limestone women's soccer team stayed unbeaten in the Carolinas-Virginia Athletics Conference with a 5-2 decision over Anderson College Wednesday afternoon. Limestone improves to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in the CVAC. Anderson now stands at 0-4-1, 0-2. Kristina Silva got the Lady Saints started with a goal just 1:21 into the game. Anderson's Nicole DuPree evened the score in the eleventh minute. Goals by Lauren McKeever and Rachel Moreland put the Lady Saints up 3-1 at the half. Limestone continued to press hard with a goal from Erin Hoffman at 48:40. DuPree tallied one more in the 58th minute, but the Lady Trojans were unable to climb back into the game. Limestone's Ashley Dugan found the net in the 68th minute for a final score of 5-2. Anderson returns to action Saturday at 1 p.m. when it plays host to St. Andrews Presbyterian College.
