Anderson Dominates Warren Wilson, 6-0

ANDERSON, S.C. -- Blake Wood scored two goals and Anderson College dominated play on both ends to beat Warren Wilson 6-0 in a non-conference match Tuesday night at Smethers Field. Anderson, 2-2, outshot Warren Wilson, 29-10. Anderson goalkeepers Alex Jenkins (4 saves) and Jack Ward (1 save) combined for AC's second shutout of the season. Wood, a senior from Chapin, scored his first goal four minutes into the match off an assist from Michael Zion. AC's second goal was scored with three minutes remaining in the first half by Patrick Bridges. After Wood got his second goal 90 seconds into the second half, Conor Dowler scored off a corner kick from Jody Forno, Jaime Henao scored off a loose ball in the box, and Trey Aull capped the scoring for the Trojans with a penalty kick at 83:55. In its two victories this season, Anderson has outscored the opposition, 12-0. Season Statistics
