ANDERSON, S.C. - Trey Aull and Josh Nguyen scored one goal apiece in the first half and Anderson's defense limited North Greenville to two shots in the second half to lead the Trojans to a 2-0 victory over the Crusaders in a non-conference match Thursday night at Smethers Field. Anderson, 7-5 overall, has won four straight matches and has allowed just three goals during the winning streak. The Trojans have allowed just two goals in their last 275 minutes. The shutout, shared by Alex Jenkins and Jack Ward, was Anderson's fourth of the season. Aull, a sophomore from Chapin, S.C., opened the scoring for Anderson at the 28:33 mark by taking a pass from Conor Dowler and lofting a header over North Greenville goalkeeper Jim Burton. The goal was Aull's third of the season. Nguyen, a freshman from Greenville, S.C., scored his first goal of the season at the 39:54 mark off a pass from Josh Pittman. Jenkins made four saves and Ward made two for the shutout. Anderson is now 4-0 against North Greenville in athletic events this fall. Season Statistics
