ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University men's lacrosse team remains nationally ranked in the three major polls: USILA (No. 14), Inside Lacrosse (No.15), and USA Lacrosse Magazine (No.15). Lenoir-Rhyne, Wingate, Limestone, and Newberry were the other South Atlantic Conference schools featured in the national rankings.
Anderson is coming off a win over SAC rival Coker by a score of 13-10, fueled by a rally in the second half in which the Trojans outscored the Cobras 5-1 in the third quarter. Brayden Bushnoe provided a spark in the faceoff, going 16 for 23 with 12 ground balls. Matthew Rodgers paced the offense with four goals, while Peyton Jefferson led the defense with four caused turnovers.
The Trojans will be back in action on Saturday (Mar. 11) as they play host to the No.13 nationally ranked (USILA) Limestone Saints at noon at Spero Financial Field. Video and live stats will be available at autrojans.com.
