Rock Hill, S.C. – The Anderson University women's tennis team has been predicted to finish fifth in the South Atlantic Conference while senior Mirna Curcic and freshman Anna Greer has earned SAC preseason honors, announced by the league office on Thursday.
Curcic and Greer teamed up as the No. 1 doubles pairing for the Trojans earning four wins during Fall play. Both Curcic and Greer will also play in one of the top-three single slots in for the Black and Gold.
Wingate (128-7) earned the top-spot followed by Tusculum (120-4). Queens (116-1) was slotted third earning one first-place vote. Lenoir-Rhyne was positioned fourth with Anderson claiming the fifth slot. Lincoln Memorial was picked sixth while the Eagles from Carson-Newman were slotted seventh. Newberry, Catawba, Coker, Mars Hill and UVa-Wise rounded out the poll, respectively.
The Trojans open up the 2020 season on Friday, Feb. 4 at home against Converse. First serve is slated for 2 pm.
