Women’s Tennis Edged Out by Lenoir-Rhyne; 4-3

Anderson, S.C. – Anderson University women's tennis fell to South Atlantic Conference opponent Lenoir-Rhyne, 4-3, on Friday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.

With the setback, the Trojans fall to 9-3 overall and 0-2 in conference action while the Bears improve to 5-2 overall and 1-0 in SAC play.

The Black and Gold won two of the three doubles matches to earn the early advantage. However, the Bears stormed back winning four of the six singles matches to earn the 4-3 victory.

Anderson travels to nonconference opponent Young Harris on Sunday. First serve is scheduled for 1 pm.
