Anderson, S.C. –The 2009 Anderson University women's soccer team reached new heights en route to their first-ever appearance in the championship match of the Conference Carolinas tournament and nearly reached the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. AU posted an overall 12-9 record and an 8-3 conference record, earning the most conference wins in school history and their nine-match winning streak late in the season also setting a new school record for most wins in a season as the third seed in the Conference Carolinas' tournament.

Three Trojans garnered all-conference honors with freshmen Jessica Kleinberg, Ashley Cotton and junior Katelyn Conover being recognized for their outstanding effort.
