ANDERSON, S.C. - Three different Anderson College players scored and Meghan Woodall made six saves to earn her first collegiate shutout and lead the Lady Trojans to a 3-0 victory over Erskine in a CVAC match Tuesday at Smethers Field. Ginny Cates opened the scoring for Anderson at 33:12 off a pass from Catherine Thomas. Anderson's lead stayed at 1-0 until the 55:47 mark when Crystal Gaffney scored off a rebound to increase the Lady Trojan lead to 2-0. Michelle Dollar tallied Anderson's final goal at 74:59. After Erskine goalkeeper Shantika Britt dropped a cross attempt, the ball bounced to Dollar, who cashed it in. Anderson, 2-7-1 overall and 2-1-1 in the CVAC, outshot Erskine, 17-9. The loss drops Erskine to 2-8, 1-4. The victory was worth three points for Anderson in the AC-Erskine Cup Sponsored By ARAMARK competition. Season Statistics
