GREENWOOD, S.C. -- The Lander women's soccer team improved to 3-1-2 Monday night when the Lady Bearcats defeated Anderson College 2-0 in a non-conference game. Anderson drops to 0-6 on the season. Elise Goldy gave Lander a 1-0 lead at 8:26 when she scored from the left side on a double assist from Ali Linnemann and Noel Livernois. The Bearcats Jannica Finnberg scored Lander's final goal on a penalty kick at 75:13. Anderson outshot Lander, 12-10, but the Bearcats led in corner kicks, 5-3. Lander goalkeeper Katherine Duncan recorded eight saves, while Anderson's Meghan Woodall had four. Season Statistics
