ANDERSON, S.C. - Cathy Zgraggen scored two goals and Melissa Tippett scored one goal to lead Limestone to a 3-0 victory over Anderson College in a CVAC women's match Friday night at Smethers Field. Limestone, 5-8 overall and 2-5 in the CVAC, took a 1-0 lead at the 35:19 mark when Zgraggen, a freshman from Lilburn, Ga., took a cross from Mariah York, controlled the ball, beat Anderson goalkeeper Meghan Woodall. Zgraggen's second goal came at the 70:18 mark when she gathered a loose ball near the top of the box and found the back of the Anderson net. Limestone's final goal came with 83:39 remaining when Tippett took a pass from Rachel Moreland and hit a high shot from the right wing that went into the net at the far post. Limestone goalkeeper Liz Eichhorn stopped eight shots to record the shutout. Anderson, 3-9-1 and 3-3-1, outshot Limestone, 18-8. The Lady Trojans had two shots hit posts and one hit the cross bar.
