Eight Trojans Earn All-Region Honors

NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced eight Anderson University student-athletes to the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field All-Region Performers list on Tuesday. 

The following Trojans earned recognition: 

Sean McAdams (Greenville, S.C.) – Men's Distance Medley Relay 

Ian Macurda (Charlotte, N.C.) - Men's Distance Medley Relay 

Noah Stump (Easley, S.C.) - Men's Distance Medley Relay 

Elliot Dotson (Greenville, S.C.) - Men's Distance Medley Relay, Men's 800-meters, Men's Mile 

Tyler Farris (Jefferson, Ga.) – Men's Heptathlon 

David Brown (Menomonie, Wis.) – Men's Heptathlon 

Rylie Jenkins (Loranger, La.) – Women's Pole Vault 

Kirsten Leonard (Hoover, Ala.) – Women's Pole Vault 

A full list of honorees can be found here. The Trojans wrapped up indoor season, finishing 4th in the Southeast Region and 3rd in the conference for the men, while the women finished 5th in the Southeast Region and 4th in the conference.

AU will resume action kicking off the outdoor season this Friday (March 15) at the 49er Classic in Charlotte, N.C.
