ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University men's lacrosse team was defeated by the nationally ranked Lenoir-Rhyne Bears by a score of 22-8 on Wednesday (Mar. 17).
Hayes Barnett led the way for the Trojans with two goals scored on the evening. Nick Calabrese, Logan Gaddis, Cam Weeks, Ryan Gundersen, Garrett Hawkins, and Cole Shallat each finished with a goal as well. Sean Ring totaled 20 saves on the night, while Cam Weeks went 21 out of 29 in the faceoff with 17 GB's for the Trojans.
The Trojans will be back in action on Saturday (Mar. 20) as they play host to the Catawba Indians. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 1:00 p.m., with live coverage available at www.autrojans.com.
