Trojans Ranked 65th in Learfield Director's Cup Winter Rankings

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- After earning 127 points from the fall with national finishes from the men's and women's cross country teams and a National Quarterfinal run from the women's volleyball team, the Anderson University athletics department remained in the Top-70 of the latest Learfield Division II Director's Cup rankings after earning an additional 50 points from the women's basketball team's appearance in the national tournament.

The Trojans checked in at No. 65 in the rankings, one spot ahead of their best finish ever at No. 66 in the 2018-19 season, and sits as the fifth highest ranked school from the South Atlantic Conference in the standings. Wingate sits in the No. 3 spot with Lenoir-Rhyne and Catawba placing No. 14 and No. 23, respectively. Limestone sits behind the Trojans at No. 69 while the remaing three teams for the league all sit outside the Top-100.

The LEARFIELD Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Points are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships.
