Former Trojan Volleyball Standout and Her Team Featured in Independent Mail

ANDERSON, S.C. – Former Trojan volleyball standout Alix (Hooker) Corley, now the head coach at nearby Belton-Honea Path High School, was recently featured, along with her team in the Anderson Independent Mail.

Corley, a native of Plant City, Fla., helped lead the Black and Gold to 65 wins during her stellar collegiate career, including three straight appearances in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament and back-to-back berths in the NCAA Southeast Region Tournament in 2013 and 2014.

She earned All-Conference and All-Region honors following her senior campaign that saw the Trojans post a school-record 25 wins and wrapped up her career at the top of the school record books in both digs and digs per set.
