ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University women's soccer junior Anna Kwiatkowski and men's soccer senior Jhon Vaca have been named to the Academic All-District Women's and Men's Soccer Team for District III, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday.
The 2019 Academic All-District® Women's and Men's Soccer Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Kwiatkowski started in 15-of-16 matches for the Trojans logging over 1050 minutes. The native of Lancaster, S.C. boasts a 4.0 in Nursing.
Vaca has played in 17 matches with starts in 10. The native of Madrid, Spain has scored one goal and has been credited with four assists on the season, so far. Vaca carries a 3.92 GPA while studying Business Management.
First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third team (if necessary) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
