ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson's Kennedy McGaha was named the South Atlantic Conference WePlayed Sports Women's Golfer of the Week for events played during the first two weeks of the 2023-24 season, the Conference office announced today. 

McGaha, a junior from Honea Path, S.C., led the No. 7 Anderson Trojans to a season opening victory at the Meredith Insurance Fall Kickoff. McGaha took home medalist honors with a seven-under-par score of 209 for the three rounds (68, 70, 71). She finished the tournament with a 69.6 stroke average. This was McGaha's first-ever collegiate tournament victory.
