ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson softball senior Laken Maxwell was named the South Atlantic Pitcher of the Week.
Maxwell, a senior from Bowdon, Ga., picked up two wins on the week as Anderson defeated Limestone (8-1) and Converse (1-0). In her eight innings pitched, she gave up six hits while striking out 13 to record a .88 ERA on the week.
The Trojans have won 12 straight and will welcome SAC foe Tusculum on Wednesday. First pitch of the doubleheader is slated for 1 pm.
