ANDERSON, S.C. – Paige Vickery of the Anderson University softball team, Alexandria Braithwaite of the women's tennis team and Vicent Fellonar of the men's tennis team have been selected as the Jimmy John's Athletes of the Week.
Vickery, a freshman from Commerce, Ga. went 5-for-13 (.385) over a four-game span. Vickery hit four home runs, which included a two grand slams. Vickery tallied 14 RBI for the Black and Gold to help lead them to an undefeated week.
Braithwaite, a sophomore from Oakville Ontario, Canada went, 3-0, at the number two singles slot this past week. Her stellar play helped keep the Trojans undefeated in conference action (4-0) and set their overall record at, 8-1.
Fenollar, a freshman from Alicante, Spain went 2-1 on the week versus three conference opponents. The Trojans defeated UVA Wise to pick up its first SAC win.
