ANDERSON, S.C. - Megan Clark provided a two-run single to cap off a four-run sixth inning and give Presbyterian College a 9-8 victory over Anderson University in the second game and a sweep of a non-conference doubleheader Tuesday afternoon at Smethers Field. In the first game, Presbyterian jumped out to a 7-0 lead through three and a half innings then held off an Anderson rally for an 8-7 victory. The sweep improves Presbyterian to 5-3, while Anderson falls to 5-7. Anderson jumped on Presbyterian starter Jessica Flanagan early in the second game. The Lady Trojans scored four runs in the first and three in the second to take a 7-3 lead. Kayla Williams hit pair of two-run homers in the first two innings for Anderson, and Kayla Thrasher hit a solo home run in the second. Flanagan was lifted after 1 2/3 innings.
