ANDERSON, S.C. - Ashley Rogers allowed just three hits and Kayla Williams drove in two runs to lead Anderson University to a 3-2 victory over Southern Wesleyan and a sweep of a doubleheader Friday afternoon at Smethers Field. The Lady Trojans are 4-0 at home this season. In the first game, Southern Wesleyan tied the score at 4 with two outs in the top of the seventh when an outfield error by Anderson allowed two runs to score. Kayla Thrasher led the Anderson's 14-hit attack with four hits in four trips and one run scored, while Williams was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in the fourth. She struck out two and walked one to even her record at 2-2. In the second game, Anderson jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first on a single by Cromer, a double by Maranda Sialmas, and two ground outs.
