CLINTON, S.C. -- Brandon Tucker scored on a header off a corner kick by Tommy Rodriguez at the 73:54 mark to give Presbyterian College a 1-0 victory over Anderson University in a non-conference match Wednesday night. Shots were even at 10 apiece. Presbyterian goalkeeper Mark Owens made three saves to earn the shutout. Anderson goalkeeper Alex Jenkins make four saves. The Trojans (1-1) had two good chances. In the 16th minute, a header by Jaime Henao was knocked away by a PC defender. In the 57th minute, Michael Zion missed from 10 yards out. Anderson returns to action Friday night at home against Mid-America Nazarene.
