ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University softball team will play 28 home contests and 22 games on the road, as the Trojans released their 2018 schedule on Monday.

The Trojans finished the 2017 season 34-16 overall and 12-8 in the SAC. Anderson lost to host Coker, 6-1 in the opening round of the South Atlantic Conference Tournament while being eliminated by Queens, 4-3, in a 10 inning thriller.

Anderson opens the 2018 schedule with a six-game home stand beginning with Southern Wesleyan. For the month of February, the Black and Gold will play a total of 14 home games at the friendly confines of the AU Softball Complex.

Anderson is set to host the South Atlantic Conference Tournament in late April. This will be the first time since 2015 the championship has not been played in Hartsville, S.C.
