Softball Spends Day at Shriners Hospital for Children-Greenville

ANDERSON, S.C   The Anderson University softball team spent the day on Wednesday at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Greenville, S.C.

Shriners Hospital for Children -Greenville is one of 22 hospitals in an international health care system dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing pediatric specialty care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs. Since 1927, Shriners have been caring for children with a wide range of orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. Their multidisciplinary approach to care allows them to treat the whole child, which enables them to customize the child's treatment plan to best meet their medical needs.

Anderson Athletics partners with many organizations throughout the year in order to actively engage with the community.

The Trojans open its 2018 campaign at home on Friday, Feb. 2. First pitch of the double-header versus nonconference opponent Southern Wesleyan is slated for 3:30 p.m.
