Men's Cross Country Finishes 9th at Lewis Crossover

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - The Anderson University men's cross-country team finished 9th in the Lewis Crossover on Saturday (Oct. 9) with a score of 299 and a total team time of 2:10:49.5.

It was a very challenging field that featured seven USTFCCCA nationally ranked teams, including number one ranked Grand Valley State. This type of competition made the Lewis Crossover the largest Division II meet in the country all year.

Spain Vaughan led the way for the Trojans by finishing in 41st with a time of 25:44.3. Daniel Similton was close behind at 25:47.2, coming in at 43rd. Patrick Berlejung (26:13.4) and Philip Quillen (26:23.8) both recorded Top-82 placements. Jonathan Roberts (26:41.1), Ty Nelson (26:47.8), Ben Clark (27:25.5), and David Williams (29:21.0) were other notable finishers for Anderson.
