Men's and Women's Cross Country Ranked in USTFCCCA Poll

Men's and Women's Cross Country Ranked in USTFCCCA Poll

NEW ORLEANS, La. The Anderson University women's and men's cross country teams were ranked third and fifth in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Southeast Regional Rankings, respectively.

"We are excited about this upcoming season," said coach Kevin Eagle. "Due to COVID, we have not had a meaningful cross country race since 2019. It means a lot to see our teams ranked where they are going into the season. We know we can improve on all ends and compete with the best teams within the region."

Last week, both Anderson squads were ranked third in the South Atlantic Conference preseason polls, with Philip Quillen, Patrick Berlejung, Spain Vaughan, Olivia Rish, Whitney Hanson, and Elise Matthews being named players to watch this season.

The Trojans will start their season on September 4th when they travel to Salisbury, N.C. for the Fleet Feet XC Invitational. Results can be found at www.autrojans.com.
