Men’s Golf Adds Pair of Prep Standouts

ANDERSON, S.C. - Anderson University head men's golf coach Danny Neal has announced that the Trojans have added Grayson Bell and Charlie Duncan to the roster, with the NLI signees slated to begin playing for the Trojans during the 2015-16 season.

Bell, a native of Piedmont, S.C., earned All-Upper State and All-State honors and is a three-time all-region honoree. He was named to the 2014 All-Anderson County Team as a junior and posted seven top-five finishes while competing for the Wren High School Hurricanes. Bell also claimed top-20 finishes in both the Jimmy Self Junior Golf Tournament and the Grant Bennett Junior Invitational.

Duncan was a member of the South Carolina Junior Golf Association York County All Stars from 2007-12 and captured individual medalist honors at the Spring Lake Country Club Championship four times - in 2008 and 2009 for ages 10-12 and in 2010 and 2012 for ages 13-14. A Rock Hill, S.C. native, Duncan also claimed second place in the event in 2011. Duncan brought home first place and second place, respectively, in back-to-back National Junior Golf Tour Tournaments last July. Duncan is a six-year letterwinner for the Northwestern High School Trojans.

"Just as the women's signees, I am also pleased with these two young men that have signed with Anderson," said Anderson head coach Danny Neal.
