ANDERSON, S.C. – The No. 38-ranked Anderson women's tennis team (2-0) defeated nonconference opponent Young Harris (0-2), 6-1, on Thursday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.

Anderson won the opening doubles point with the No. 2 and No. 3 flights winning its matches with the No. 1 position narrowly dropping the set, 6-7 (8-6) to claim the double sweep.

In singles play, the Trojans won five of the six singles matches to claim the, 6-1, victory.

The Trojans return to action on October 23^rd when it travels to nonconference opponent Pfeiffer. First-serve is slated for 2 pm.
