ANDERSON, S.C. - Junior Katie Eskew trimmed three strokes off Monday's first-round 81 to finish with a two-day total 159 to lead the Anderson women's golf team, as the Trojans closed their fall season with a 15th-place finish at the Flagler College Fall Slam.
Eskew (81-78=159) wrapped up the two-day tourney, hosted at the
at the par 72, 6,062 Marsh Creek Golf Course, with a 15-over-par
tally and finished in a five-way tie for 25th.
Sophomore Natalie Feder (84-87=171) finished 12 shots further back
and shared 65th, along with teammate Braiden Furtick (90-81=171),
who slashed nine strokes off her first-round scorecard.
Senior Lindsay Parks tied for 76th following a two-day total 175, with freshman Garyt Hamilton (92-88=180) earning a tie for 82nd.
Barry University slipped 11 strokes from the first round, but still claimed a comfortable 19-shot victory over the host Saints, who moved past Tusculum by one shot. The Trojans finished two shots behind the Flagler B squad and 12 strokes ahead of West Georgia.
