Women’s Golf Stands 14th at Flagler Fall Slam

ANDERSON, S.C. - Junior Katie Eskew carded a 9-over-par 81 to pace the Anderson women's golf team on the first day of action at the Flagler College Fall Slam Monday at the par 72, 6,062 Marsh Creek Golf Course.

Eskew sits in a tie for 32nd , while sophomore Natalie Feder sits three strokes further back after firing a first-round 84 and is tied for 58th. Senior Lindsay Parks posted an 87 and shares 70th, while freshman Braiden Furtick carded an 18-over-par 90 and is tied for 78th. Freshman Garyt Hamilton notched a 92 and is 81st.

Barry University leads the tourney by 15 shots over second-place Tusculum and 19 strokes over Saint Leo. The Trojans trail North Georgia by one shot.

The Trojans wrap up their fall slate with Tuesday's final round.
