Men’s Cross Country Remains Ninth in Regional Poll

NEW ORLEANS - After moving into the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) DII Regional Rankings at No. 9 a week ago, the Anderson University men's cross country team remained ninth in latest rankings, as released Tuesday.

This week's top-10 teams mirror last week's poll, but the rankings saw shuffling midway through the poll. Mount Olive continued to lead the pack, with Queens holding the second spot for the second consecutive week. UNC Pembroke, Georgia College and Mars Hill each moved up a spot and were third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Columbus State fell three spots to No. 6 this week, with GRU Augusta, Lincoln Memorial, Anderson and Montevallo rounding out the 10-team poll.

Anderson returns to action on Saturday, when the Trojans are scheduled to compete in the Bulldog Stampede, hosted by Wingate.
