ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson University men's tennis senior Ignacio Bidegain has been named the South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Men's Tennis Player of the Week for matches played during week six of the 2020 season, the Conference announced today.
Bidegain, a senior from Buenos Aires, Argentina, led the Trojans to a pair of wins, including a SAC win over Tusculum to improve to 13-2 overall and 2-1 in SAC play. He went undefeated in both singles and doubles play. He picked up a hard-fought victory at No. 1 singles, 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 against Tusculum and was victorious against Augusta 6-3, 6-3.
This is Bidegain's first Player of the Week selection this season.
