Augusta, Ga. – Anderson University men's tennis team defeated nonconference opponent Augusta on Sunday afternoon in Augusta, Ga.
With the win, the Trojans move to 13-2 overall while the Jaguars fall to 3-6 overall.
The Trojans earned the opening point winning the No. 2 and No. 3 flights with the top-flight unfinished.
With the match knotted up 2-2, seniors Ignacio Bidegain and Jeffrey Dayton won back-to-back matches to help Anderson claim the 4-2 victory.
Anderson will take a 10 day break before welcoming SAC opponent Mars Hill. First-serve is scheduled for 2 pm.
