ANDERSON, S.C. - After posting its second consecutive 20-win season, the Anderson University women's basketball team is set to host the quarterfinal round of the 2016 South Atlantic Conference Tournament, which is set to begin on Wednesday at the home sites of the higher seeds.

While claiming their second straight SAC regular-season championship and third in the last four seasons, the Trojans are set to host eighth-seeded Lenoir-Rhyne at the Abney Athletic Center beginning at 7 p.m., Wednesday. The winner of the quarterfinal matchup will head to the semifinals against the winner of Game 2 of fourth-seeded Mars Hill and fifth-seeded Lincoln Memorial.

Tickets for Wednesday's quarterfinal games at the Abney Center are $8 for adults, $4 for youth (12 and under), senior citizens, and active and retired military personnel. Admission for college students with college ID is $2, while children under the age of five are admitted free.

The AU ticket window will open at 6 p.m. and tickets may be purchased with cash only. No debit or credit cards will be accepted.

Following the quarterfinals, the remainder of the tournament will be played at Furman University's Timmons Arena with the semifinals being played on Saturday and the championship round slated for Sunday. Tickets for the semifinal rounds on Saturday and at Furman's Timmons Arena are $15 for adults, $8 for youth (12 and under), senior citizens, and active and retired military personnel and college students with college ID, while Sunday's ticket prices range from $12 for adults and $6 for children, senior citizens, and active and retired military personnel and college students with an ID.

Children under the age of five will be admitted free to both the semifinals and finals.

Top-seeded Anderson will be looking for its third victory over the Bears this season, after sweeping the season series with a 57-54 win at Shuford Gymnasium on Jan. 9, followed by a 61-44 victory at the Abney Center eight days ago.
