Anderson, S.C. – Despite taking Wingate to tie-break sets three times, the Bulldogs proved to be too much for Anderson women's tennis (11-6, 6-5 SAC) defeating the Trojans, 7-0, in Monday afternoon at the Tennis Complex.

Wingate earned the first point of the match winning the doubles portion, but not without a fight at the No. 3 slot. Alexandria Braithwaite and Gigi Sompayrac pushed Vallejos/Hakovirta falling 7-6(2).

The Bulldogs set the final score to seven winning all six singles matches. AU's Katie Robeson, Ronconi and Alvarez Tello pushed their matches to three sets for falling ot the Bulldogs.
