JEFFERSON CITY, TENN. – No. 45 Anderson women's tennis (8-3, 4-2 SAC) suffered its second straight South Atlantic Conference setback with a ,4-3, loss to Carson-Newman (4-5, 2-2 SAC) on Wednesday afternoon at the Buddy Catlett Tennis Complex.
Carson-Newman opened the match winning the doubles portion to take a, 1-0, lead.
The Eagles were able to won three of the six singles matches to edge out the Trojans.
Anderson returns home to host Mars Hill on Saturday. First-serve is slated for 1:30 pm.
