Women’s Golf Tied for Sixth at Dana Rader Intercollegiate

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Anderson University women's golf team is tied for sixth following opening round action at the annual Dana Rader Intercollegiate, hosted by Pfeiffer College at the par 72, 5,845-yard Ballantyne Resort on Monday.

The Trojans (325) are tied with Erskine in the sixth spot and are three shots behind Mount Olive (322) heading into Tuesday's final round.

Senior Laura Buyers fired a first-round seven-over par 79 to lead Anderson and sits in a six-way tie for 20th, while senior Kalyn Johnson, freshman Sarah Timms and freshman Natalie Feder each carded an opening-round 82 and are tied for 29th. Sophomore Katie Eskew is one stroke further back in a tie for 38th.

Tuesday's final round will begin at 9 a.m.
