GREENEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Anderson University women's golf team finished sixth in the 13-team Agnes McAmis Memorial Tournament at the Link Hills Country Club Tuesday. Belmont Abbey (299-307) won the team title by seven shots over Pfeiffer (305-308). Wingate was third at 617, Shorter was fourth was 636, host Tusculum was fifth at 654, and Anderson was sixth at 655. Daniela Vargas of Shorter (69-70) won the individual title by one shot over Charlene Reid of Pfeiffer (72-68). Carley Warrington of Belmont Abbey (72-74) was third. Anderson (325-330) was led by Sophie Dembroski, who shot a 74 in the final round to finish in a tie for 10th at 154. Anderson's other second round scores were Hayley Parks 82, Kim Hausman 87, and Elizabeth Belanger 87. Anderson's next tournament is the Conference Carolinas Tournament Apr. 20-22 at Clemmons, N.C.
