ANDERSON, S.C. - The game notes for the Anderson University women's basketball team's road contest with South Atlantic Conference opponent Newberry have been released.
Winning four of their last five, the Trojans enter the month of February with an 11-8 overall record and a 7-6 mark in SAC play. With its winning conference record, AU finds itself in a three-way tie for fifth in the league standings alongside Coker and Saturday's opponent, Newberry.
Newberry, which was projected to win the league this season, carries an 11-6 overall mark. The Wolves have won two straight road matchups over Carson-Newman (83-75) and Queens (57-42).
The game will be broadcast on FOX SPORTS Radio 1280 AM, WANS and will also be available on the internet at www.wrixfm.com and the Anderson web site at www.autrojans.com, along with video and live stats. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
