Men’s Cross Country’s Danielski and Tuten Claim Top-10 Spots at Spartanburg Methodist’s Biscuit Collegiate Invite

MILL SPRING, N.C. – Anderson University's Nic Danielski finished fifth, while senior Hayden Tuten claimed seventh place at Spartanburg Methodist's Biscuit Collegiate Invite, Saturday morning at the Tryon International Equestrian Center.

"The four who competed in Tryon ran near the front of the pack, which is exactly what the plan was," said Anderson head coach Kevin Eagle. "With having all four place in the top 10 and having an overall winner in Melea, I couldn't be happier."

Danielski, a sophomore from Summerville, S.C., traversed the 8K course in a time of 28:31.7, while Tuten posted a time of 28:47.3.

The Trojans are slated to get back on the course Friday at the Newberry College Invitational.
