ANDERSON, S.C. – The Anderson University baseball team will be hosting a pair of instructional camps on Saturday, Sept. 30th, at Anderson Memorial Stadium.
The camps are being offered to any high school baseball player interested in improving their skills in order to play baseball at the collegiate level.
The pitching camp is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. – noon, with the position player session from 1:00 p.m. - 4 p.m. Players may attend both sessions.
The camps will be staffed by Anderson University baseball coaching staff and members of the Anderson University baseball team. The AU Admissions Office will also be offering guided tours of the Anderson University campus following both sessions.
The deadline for camp registration is Wednesday, Sept. 20th.
Cost for one camp is $50 (either pitching or position player) and the cost for sessions is $80. The price includes camp and a t-shirt.
Only 42 position players will be accepted for the afternoon session, and the morning session will be limited to 30 pitchers.
