HIGH POINT, N.C. -- Whitney Bishoff and Nate Parsons of Anderson University both have been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas cross country Runners of the Week for week number six of the 2008 season. This is the third week this year that Bishoff, a native of Winder, Ga., has won the award taking the honors also in week three and in week five. Bishoff won her third race of the season at Auburn. Running in the Blue race against Division II competition, she recorded a time of 18:08 to win by five seconds on the 5K course. Her finish helped Anderson to a seventh place finish out of ten teams. Parsons recorded a fifth-place finish at the Auburn Blue race. Parsons, from Clifton Springs, N.Y., recorded his best time of the year on an 8K course with a time of 25:35. The fifth-place finish was his third consecutive top five finish of the season.
