ANDERSON, S.C. - Anderson's men's lacrosse team play their final regular season road game at Mars Hill on Saturday (April 13).
"This weekend should be a great test for us to see if we can bounce back from a tough loss on the road," said head coach Albert Mitchell. "The sport's about toughness—we get to test that this week."
Sitting 6-7 overall and 4-3 in South Atlantic Conference play, the Black and Gold look to rebound after last weekend's 11-5 loss to No. 6 Wingate.
The Lions, who are 5-8 overall and 2-5 in the SAC, enter the matchup following a double overtime 11-10 victory over Lincoln Memorial.
Anderson is 3-0 all time versus Mars Hill, winning last year's contest 13-5 in North Carolina.
The Trojans return home next week (April 17) for the regular season finale against No. 9 Newberry. Opening faceoff is scheduled for 7:00 PM.
