CONCORD, N.C. -- Adam Sheriff of Anderson University shot a 5-over 77 in the final round to finish in a tie for 18th at the Division II Atlantic Regional Wednesday at the Rocky River Golf Club. Sheriff finished with a 54-hole total of 230, five shots out of the top 10. Sheriff was second among the five individual participants in the field. Sheriff, the CVAC Freshman of the Year, was even par through six holes before making a double bogey on No. 7. He made the turn in 2-over and then made six pars and three bogeys on the back nine. Dion Sirrianni of Lees-McRae, who also was participating as an individual, won the tournament with a total of 217. Pfeiffer shot a 303 in the final round to catch 36-hole leader Coker. Both teams finished with 36-hole totals of 898. Barton was third at 908.
