Men's Golf Team 12th After First Two Rounds

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif. -- The Anderson University men's golf team is 12th after the first two rounds of the 56th Annual Southern California Intercollegiate at the Marbella Country Club. The Trojans shot 307-314 for a 36-hole total of 621. Cal State Bakersfield leads the 14-team field with a two-round total of 581. Sonoma State is second at 582, and Georgia College and State University is third at 591. Anderson was led in the first two rounds by Adam Sheriff, who is tied for seventh after shooting 69-75 for a total of 144. Juan Bialet of Georgia College and State is the individual leader at 137. Peter Lindback of Sonoma State is second at 139. Anderson's other scores were: Nick Kirby (75-79), Ryan Sprayberry (79-77), Curtis Norwood (87-83), and Clay Williamson (84-87). The final round will be played Tuesday morning.
