YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. –The Anderson women's tennis team fell to No. 34 Young Harris, 7-2, on Thursday at the Bob and Gayle Nichols Tennis Complex.
With the setback, the Trojans drop to 9-10 overall while the Mountain Lions move to 12-5 overall.
The Black and Gold were down 2-1 following doubles action with the No. 2 flight grabbing the lone point. Ivey Welborn and Victoria Wuilloud defeated Carol Quevedo and Maria Puerta, 8-5.
The Trojans were only able to win at the No. 3 position in singles play with Jacqueline Olivia defeating Ana Rodriguez, 6-2, 6-2.
Anderson travels to SAC opponent Coker on Saturday to wrap up regular season conference play. First serve is slated for 2 p.m.
