ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson women's tennis picked up a South Atlantic Conference win, 6-3, over SAC opponent Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.
With the victory, the Trojans move to 5-6 overall and 1-2 in conference play while Lenoir-Rhyne drops to 8-3 overall and 1-1 in SAC action.
Anderson claimed a 2-1 advantage after the doubles portion clinching the match after junior Laura Dean, senior Ivey Welborn and freshman Hanna Weaver won their matches in order. Also, picking up a three-set victory for the Trojans was junior Jacqueline Olivia.
Anderson remains at home to host SAC foe Queens on Sunday. First-serve is slated for 2 p.m.
